Welcome to our monthly Dog Training News. This October, we have...
Tip Of The Month:
Once your dog understand your commands and hand signals, begin to give less rewards. Reprimand your dog only when you actually observe it misbehaving - displaying your anger or reprimanding after the event will only confuse your dog further.
Question Of The Month
My trainer says i should smack my dog when he disobeys me, but i'm uncomfortable with this. What should i do?
You should start finding another trainer immediately - a trainer who uses aggressiveness rather than positive correction methods will cause your dog to be nervous and that might lead to future aggressive behavior in your dog to defend itself.
